As per guidance given in MB8 white paper MB8 will now burn un-circulated coins. The breakdown is as follows:

Current Circulating Supply: 224,010,435.1701894 coins current circulating supply.

Coins being sent to burn wallet 1: 360,772,462.9521003 MB8 have been sent to burn wallet with address: MB8CoinBurnAddressXXXXXXXXXXUgsoVp. These are already removed from Circulation and can never be used again.

Coins being sent to burn wallet 2: 61,000,000.00000000 MB8 have been sent to burn wallet with address: MRzYA2pVjTvW9Gg67NJcLPVGzpwTi16Z5R. These are awaiting a soft update to the network, once this is done, these coins will be removed from Circulation and can never be used again.

This means once the updates are complete the new circulating supply will be 158,787,552.5760948 MB8.

This new figure includes the coins held on the Payment Node as detailed below, and any staking that has already been issued. This figure will also be progressively increasing in accordance with the staking reward.

Coins held on payment node: 19077685.980669 Coins are held on the payment node. These coins are held to honour outstanding conversions from MB8 Token from web wallets, Eurocredit plus and Eurocredit conversions that may be outstanding and any unclaimed coins will be added to the burn wallet at a later date.

With exchange listings now going live the connections and API integrations between the Multibuy Network and the exchanges will now begin and is estimated to take a few weeks to be built, tested and integrated before being rolled out live to the network of websites including Multibuy Shop, Multibuy Travel and participating retailers.

Domain Registrar EnCirca Starts Registrations for Ethereum Addresses

EnCirca, an internet domain registrar, is launching an ethereum naming service (ENS) to provide domain names at .eth locations. The firm is in the pre-registration phase and will accept domain applications until August 10.

Similar to the domain name system (DNS) currently in play on the web, ENS will link to alphanumeric ethereum addresses through “human-readable” names, according to a statement. These domains appear like traditional URLs, are searchable on any web browser, and will link to ethereum web pages that exist either on or off the blockchain.

This additional layer of web identity will enable people to associate their brands, companies, or persons with ethereum accounts.

The announcement also acts as a call to action for pre-existing brands to stake their claim before domain-name squatters take valuable internet real-estate like apple.eth or ibm.eth.

The company writes in a statement:

“Blockchain domain names are not regulated like .com or .org domain names… The implication that Encirca wishes to convey is brand owners should act defensively to protect their trademarks in the .eth top-level domain.”

The firm said that short names, between 3 and 6 characters, will be reserved for brands that can show the longest continuous use of a particular URL on a pre-existing domain like .com or .org. While addresses starting at 7 characters or more will be auctioned off.

The company did not respond to a request for comment.

Encirca is a participant in the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, a non-profit that coordinates domain name listings, and has received a SOC-2 rating for privacy and security standards.
